The 7.62 MM Garrison Rosado is a medium-full Nicaraguan cigar blended using a Nicaraguan Habano Rosado wrapper, Habano binder, and fillers of Habano from Esteli, Ometepe, and Jalapa. A nice solid triple cap perfect for the Colibri Deep V Cutter.
I smoked the 6 X 52 Toro for this review.
Very nice construction throughout this cigar with good smoking characteristics. A couple burn touch ups but nothing bad.Ash fell in 1” flaky chunks.
Cold draw was a little tight with notes of hay, chocolate and a pepper spice.
Upon light-up you get hit a white pepper bomb, which leads to baking spices, cedar and orange zest.
Second third has notes of cedar, baking spices, citrus zest, slightly floral note, white pepper still lingers on the tongue and through the retrohale. The cigar smooths out a bit in this third.
Getting into the #finalthird cedar, baking spices, and citrus zest remain with the addition of some coffee bitterness. Pepper remains on the tongue and retrohale.
The 7.62 MM Garrison Rosado was an enjoyable cigar with a nice draw, great smoke output, and nice flavor complexity. A lot of white pepper early on that mellows out after the first third.
Overall this was a solid cigar that I will enjoy again soon! I gave the Warfighter 7.62 MM Garrison Rosado a Final Third Cigar rating of 90. Solid cigar from a great company!
