From the founders of Blowing Smoke Cigars, Father and Son team Robert and DeVante Minor, the Ghost is a Medium Full Body Maduro added recently to their line.
From the website:
“As Air Force Veterans, cigar smoking was always a part of the culture especially overseas. In early 2019 on a recent “Father Son” trip to the Dominican Republic, Robert, a former Air Force Air Traffic Controller, and DeVante, a former Air Force Firefighter, formed the idea to create a family legacy to pass on to future generations.
Living in Houston, visiting various cigar bars and lounges further enhanced our passion for cigars; thus Blowing Smoke Cigar Company was formed.
Blowing Smoke Cigar Company is dedicated to cigars and the camaraderie that comes with smoking. Whether you’re a novice at smoking cigars or a professional looking for something different to taste, we have the cigar for you.”

The Ghost is a Medium to Full Body 7 X 44 Lancero from the Dominican Republic blended with a San Andreas Maduro wrapper, Corojo 99 binder, and fillers of Corojo 99, Broadleaf, and Dominican Olor. Cap is a tight pigtail in which I used the Xikar XO Cutter.
Solid construction with very nice smoking characteristics. Great burn line and smoke output! Solid ash, especially for a lancero!
Getting into the flavor notes, the first third offers notes of baking spice, buttered cinnamon toast, with black pepper lingering on the palate and through the retrohale. Great start!
Second third has a great buttered cinnamon toast flavor with the baking spices still present. Same black pepper finish.
#finalthird continues with that beautiful buttered toast flavor and baking spices with an addition of a mild black coffee note. Black pepper lingers and is present through the retrohale.
Love the flavor of buttered cinnamon toast, brought back childhood memories of the tasty treat my mom used to make me daily!
This was a trip down memory lane for me. I really enjoyed the flavors and construction was well done! In the end, i gave the Blowing Smoke Cigar Company - Ghost a Final Third Cigar rating of 90. Solid cigar that I will return to often for that buttered cinnamon toast goodness!
If you haven’t yet, give Blowing Smoke a try! Some great cigars being made by some incredible veterans making their mark in the cigar industry!
