The El Nuevo Comienga Paul Stulac Exclusiva is a cigar made for the Privada Cigar Club and for sale only through shops and lounges who are members of the LCA. The LCA is an organization working with a maximum of 300 small shops and lounges around the USA to bring Privada Cigar Club exclusive cigars to the community through local brick and mortars like The Smoke Pit in Greenwood, IN. This October 2020 release cigar will go into production in 2021, but now only available through the LCA member lounges and shops.

The Paul Stulac Exclusiva, like it’s little brother the Privada Limitada, is a medium to full body and strength cigar, but unlike the Limitada has a nice spice component! A Nicaraguan made cigars blended using a USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan (Jalapa) binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. This cigar comes in a 5 1/2 X 54 soft box-pressed Robusto Extra, with a solid triple cap perfect for the Colibri Deep V Cutter.

Upon cut, the cold draw has notes of rich chocolate and leather. Perfect draw resistance, and upon light tons of smoke! Great construction with a beautiful toothy and dark wrapper.

Getting into the flavor notes, the first third starts off with strong black pepper and features dark chocolate, leather, wood, with the black pepper tapering off in strength but still present on the tongue and through the retrohale.

The second third has notes of leather, light earth, orange zest, dried fruit, with the same black pepper on the tongue and through the retrohale.

#FinalThird offers rich leather, orange zest, dried fruit, with the black pepper building and strong on retrohale.

I loved the flavor complexity! I really enjoy a cigar that adds that orange zest and dried fruit, and the overall flavor combinations in this cigar was fantastic.

Solid ash that fell in large chunks, one small burn touch up toward the middle of the final third.

Overall, I really love this cigar! Strong enough to satisfy my craving for spice but not overpowering to the palate.

I gave the El Nuevo Comienzo Paul Stulac Exclusiva a Final Third Cigar rating of 93. Great cigar and one I will smoke again when they come out in 2021!
