The Shit Show Crew Cigar is made by AJ Fernandez for the Privada Cigar Club commemorating a group of guys who have been fans and members of the Privada Cigar Club since its inception. You’ll have to connect with them on IG (The Shit Show Crew) for the whole story, but the name came out of a party weekend in New Orleans! This cigar is only available through the Privada Club website and a select few through The Smoke Pit in Greenwood, IN.

The Shit Show Crew cigar is a medium to full strength and body cigar made at the AJ Fernandez Factory in Nicaragua. This cigar is blended using a Nicaraguan Maduro Habano wrapper, with binder and filler from Nicaragua. Available in the 6 X 43 Lonsdale vitola with a solid cap, I smoked this cigar with both a straight cut and then another one with a deep v cut. As usual, the deep v opens up the draw even more and produces billowing smoke.
The aroma on the foot is sweet tobacco and cocoa. Upon cut, the cold draw is barnyard, cocoa with spice left on the tongue.
After light-up, the cigar has a perfect draw, billowing smoke, and a great burn line throughout.
The first third offers up notes of sweet tobacco, cocoa, earth, cedar, baking spices, and nuts, with pepper spice remaining on the tongue and through the retrohale - exactly like you’d expect from AJ tobacco.
The second third continues to transition with cocoa, earth, and cedar, and an addition of molasses and a dark fruit (think dates). Same pepper remains on the finish and through the retrohale.
The final third settles in with sweet cinnamon spice, cedar and some complex baking spices, finished off with black pepper on the tongue and through the retrohale.
Overall a nice complex cigar with perfect smoking characteristics. It started off as a medium and ended up just in the full range of strength and body. This is a solid 90-100 minute smoke for me.
In the end, The Shit Show Crew cigar is a solid offering for this groups first cigar, and fitting being a collab with Privada Cigar Club. I gave this cigar a Final Third Cigar rating of 92. Fantastic first cigar fellas!
