The Vince is a cigar made by Blackbird Cigars for the Privada Cigar Club and for sale through shops and lounges who are members of the LCA. The LCA is an organization working with a maximum of 300 small shops and lounges around the USA to bring Privada Cigar Club exclusive cigars to the community through local brick and mortars like The Smoke Pit in Greenwood, IN. This April 2021 release cigar is only available through the LCA member lounges and shops.

The Vince by Blackbird Cigars is a Full Body cigar made in the Dominican Republic for the LCA and is the April, 2021 LCA release cigar.
Blended using a San Andreas wrapper, Dominican binder, and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, The Vince comes in a 6 X 50 Box-Pressed Toro vitola with a closed foot donning a pigtail - this little addition makes for a great light up, giving you tons of flavor on the light without the need to toast the foot.
This cigar has a beautiful dark brown, toothy wrapper with a nice ribbon foot band. Beautiful construction and nice smoking characteristics!
I used the Colibri Deep V Cutter on the solid triple cap for a perfect draw resistance.
Upon cut, the cold draw has notes of dry cocoa and hay.
As said before, the light-up gives you a quick burst of flavor and spice. Black pepper starts off the first third and then notes of earth, wood, peat, and leather emerge, and strong pepper remains present on the palate and retrohale. Nice spicy start!
The second third continues with notes of wood and earth, with the addition of cumin, red pepper, and orange zest. Pepper continues to linger on the palate and through the retrohale.
The final third builds in complexity with notes of earth, orange zest, red pepper, clove, and black tea, with pepper hanging on the tongue and through the retrohale.
Flavors are complex and transitions are nice!
The Vince has nice solid white ash that I tapped off in large chunks. I had one burn touch-up at the beginning of the second third and one small one in the final third.
Great smoke output!
In the end, I really loved this cigar! Being a full-body cigar, this fits right in my wheelhouse, and yet another cigar by Blackbird that is fantastic!
I gave The Vince a Final Third Cigar rating of 94. A great cigar you will love if you enjoy a full-body cigar!
