The Aladino Classic comes to us by JRE Tobacco. Julio and Justo Eiroa blended this new cigar for 2022 adding it to Aladino’s core line of cigars and has knocked it out of the park with a completely new blend to fit their lineup perfectly.

For more information about this cigar and purchasing it and the rest of the Aladino line, stop by Final Third Cigar & Whiskey Lounge at 180 East Broadway Street, Ingalls, IN 46048 - Indiana’s Exclusive Aladino Cigar Lounge.

The Aladino Classic is a Medium strength and body cigar blended and rolled at the JRE Tobacco Farm Factory in the Jamastrán Valley of Honduras. I am smoking the 5 X 44 Corona today for this review.

The Aladino Classic is blended utilizing a Habano wrapper, Corojo binder, and Habano fillers.

Perfect construction and appearance on this little beauty! Medium brown and leathery wrapper, with a solid triple cap perfect for any cut you choose!

After the cut, the cold draw is sweet hay and the draw is perfect.

Upon light up, the flavor journey begins with a toasted wheat note adding nutmeg, and a fresh mint lingering on the tongue after each puff. Retrohaling gives you a smooth baking spice for those olfactory senses.

Getting into the second third, the notes of toasted wheat and fresh mint remain, with the addition of cedar and some additional baking spices. The retrohale transitions to baking spices and red pepper.

The final third continues to impress with similar notes of cedar, toasted wheat, nutmeg, fresh mint, and adding a subtle sassafras note. Baking spices and mild pepper remain on the retrohale.

Very nice transitions and really nothing to take points away from the score. My score may be a bit higher or lower than yours, but mostly the only differences will be flavor preferences. If you enjoy lots of baking spice type notes and medium strength, you’re going to love it!

Absolutely perfect draw, great burn line with no touch-ups, billowing smoke ouitput, with ash falling off in large chunks.

For fun, I sipped on some root beer in the final third and that sassafras note really popped and played well together with the thick creamy smoke. Root Beer is a great pairing for the non-drinker or someone wanting to play those sassafras notes. A great whiskey pairing is the new Jack Daniels Triple Mash! Check out that pairing video HERE!

It’s not new to most of you that I am a huge fan of the Aladino brand and the Eiroa family, but the bottom line is that the cigars produced have to also be great or they won’t be in my lounge humidor, or in my normal rotation. And every blend Aladino has created is in my normal rotation! When you have great people and great cigars it’s a match made in heaven.

With all that said, I gave the Aladino Classic a solid Final Third Cigar rating of 96! This is in my top 5 cigars of 2022 for sure! We offer the Corona, Robusto, Toro, and Gordo here at Final Third CIgar & Whiskey Lounge, 180 East Broadway, Ingalls, IN 46048. And the price point on these cigars is within anyone’s budget!
