The Cigar Clowns “The Ron” is a cigar made by AJ Fernandez for the Privada Cigar Club and for sale through shops and lounges who are members of the LCA. The LCA is an organization working with a maximum of 300 small shops and lounges around the USA to bring Privada Cigar Club exclusive cigars to the community through local brick and mortars like The Smoke Pit in Greenwood, IN. This June 2021 release cigar is only available through the LCA member lounges and shops.

The Cigar Clowns “The Ron” is a Nicaraguan Puro blended with a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper, and Nicaraguan binder and filler. This full body, medium to full strength cigar comes in a 6 X 50 Toro vitola with great construction and a solid triple cap, perfect for the Colibri Deep V Cutter.
The cold draw has notes of creamy tobacco, chocolate and hay.
Upon light up, the first third has flavor notes of leather, cedar, baking spices, and black coffee with the famous AJ Fernandez black pepper building on the tongue and through the retrohale.
The second third continues to impress with notes of black coffee, leather, cinnamon spice, nutmeg with the pepper mellowing out a bit, lingering well on the palate.
Getting into the final third, notes of coffee, leather, cinnamon spice and lemon zest are ever present with spice building on the palate and retrohale.
The Ron has perfect smoking characteristics with a great draw, burn and thick smoke output. No burn touch ups throughout.
Ash holds on strong, i tapped it off in thirds but it could hold on much longer!
This is a fantastic cigar, one if in regular production I would buy by the box!
In the end, I gave this AJ Fernandez LCA Exclusive Cigar Clowns “The Ron” a Final Third Cigar rating of 95! Definitely in my top two LCA releases to date!
