AJ Fernandez New World Cameroon Cigar Review:
I smoked the box-pressed Churchill New World Cameroon which is constructed with Nicaraguan binder and filler with a nice Cameroon wrapper.
Construction is solid with the beautiful Cameroon wrapper and triple cap! Since it is a 7 x 48, I used the Xikar XO straight Cut and it was perfect!
Perfect draw and great smoke output! Nice even light up to start! Burn line stayed true all the way down!
First third had a bit of spice that I liked which faded a bit into a smooth slightly nutty creamy flavor! Nice complex profile to keep me on my toes.
Second third stayed try to the nutty creaminess with a lingering spice. Really nice flavors blending well.
Final third was nice keeping with the smooth nutty flavor and a lingering spice. A little more of a roasted earth came through toward the end.
Nice solid ash came off in large chunks! No burn touch ups!
The New World Cameroon is a very nice medium strength cigar that is an incredible value for a budget priced stick! I gave this cigar a rating of 91.
Overall this was an enjoyable cigar that I paired with some hot tea. This would hold up to any drink of your choosing! This is one everyone should try as it offers a lot and has a great price point!
