The Crow is one of the most unique cigars I have smoked in quite some time! If you have followed my reviews of the Blackbird cigars, this brand has really impressed me. The range of flavors is vast through their line, and the construction and smoking characteristics have been perfect throughout their blends!

Blackbird Cigar Co - Crow Cigar Review:

The Crow is a Medium to Full strength cigar from the Dominican Republic constructed with a San Andreas Mexican wrapper, Habano binder, and a mix of fillers from Nicaragua, Pennsylvania, Corojo, and Criollo 98 tobaccos. I smoked the 5 X 50 Robusto and used the Colibri Deep V Cutter on the solid triple cap.

Getting started, the cold draw consisted of semi-sweet chocolate and tobacco - Nice smooth flavors. Construction was great with a beautiful wrapper and perfect cap. The texture was also firm but not too firm.

The first third really grabbed my attention with unique flavors. I was getting creamy semi-sweet chocolate and what I would call a natural, not sweet, peanut butter. I know, it sounds odd to me too but man quite unique!

In the second third the chocolate dropped off a bit and the palette was all creamy natural peanut butter - I was really digging this cigar throughout this stage and really the entire stick.

The #finalthird is where the complexity really popped with the same natural peanut butter as the main flavor with notes of mild coffee and a hint of black pepper on the retrohale.

Strength picked up a tick to Medium-Full in the final third, with the first two thirds at a medium strength.

The Crow has a closed foot, which made the initial light up just a bit uneven, but it corrected itself quickly and didn’t need a burn touch-up at all. Solid ash that came off in two large chunks.

The Crow has thick rich smoke that left a long finish of flavors on the palette! I am usually a spicier cigar fan, loving the red and black pepper spice of some stronger sticks, but the flavors in this cigar had my senses excited from the start through the final third!

I absolutely loved this cigar! The complexity yet smoothness of this cigar had me shaking my head on how these flavors come from all-natural tobacco! This blend is one of my favorites!

I gave the Blackbird Cigar Co - Crow a Final Third Cigar rating of 94! Can’t say enough good about this cigar or any of the blends I have tried from Blackbird to date!

This is one of those cigars every cigar smoker should try! Your senses will be surprised and your enjoyment will be immense!
