The Cigabon is a cigar made for the Privada Cigar Club and for sale through shops and lounges who are members of the LCA. The LCA is an organization working with a maximum of 300 small shops and lounges around the USA to bring Privada Cigar Club exclusive cigars to the community through local brick and mortars like The Smoke Pit in Greenwood, IN. This February 2021 release cigar is only available through the LCA member lounges and shops.

The Cigabon is a Medium body, 5 X 50 Robusto, Dominican cigar blended by Jochy Blanco consisting of an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Jacagua Corojo binder, and fillers of Seco Piloto Cubano, Ligero Criollo 98, and a half leaf of Ligero Olor Dominicano.
Upon inspection, the cigar has a nice solid triple cap, perfect for a Deep V Cut, a beautiful light brown wrapper with nice construction and texture.
The cold draw has notes of chocolate and a sweet tobacco note.
The first one I smoked was a day after it arrived, so it had been in the cold temps during travel for a few days. It was nice but did have a major burn touch-up in the first third and another small one in the final third. After I smoked another one a couple of days later the burn was much better with very minor burn touch-ups. After sitting for a week in your local humidor I would guess these cigars will burn fantastic.
Upon light up, the cigar produces billowing smoke and solid ash that fell in thirds, mainly because I knocked it off in thirds. As solid as that ash was I could see this cigar in a long ash competition.
Getting into the flavor notes, the first third offers notes of creamy leather, pretzel, and peanut, with a red pepper spice lingering on the tongue and through the retrohale.
Second third transitions nicely with light spiciness and sweet cinnamon, earth, black tea, and some creaminess to the smoke, with a very minimal spice lingering.
Into the Final Third, I was getting black tea, earth, nut, baking spice cinnamon, a clean minty finish, with red pepper spice lingering on the palate and through the retrohale.
I enjoyed the cigar and would love to see this blend with a little more body and strength, but similar to the Cookie, it's nice to get a great cigar in the mild, finishing out at a medium, strength range that is enjoyable.
Remember, tastes are subjective! You may get more, or less, flavors, or even some different flavors, so get out and try them for yourself and compare notes!
I enjoyed the complexity of this cigar. It has a nice draw, great smoke output, nice even light up, and a burn line that gets better after letting them sit in the humidor to acclimate a bit.
I gave the Cigabon a Final Third Cigar rating of 92. Again, a point could be added for the burn line getting better as they sit a bit, but all in all this is a great cigar!
The Cigabon will be released to LCA shops to sell on February 5th, 2021, so plan on hitting up your local LCA shop to grab you some before they are all gone! As you know, these limited releases go fast!
