Viva La Vida Jester and Club 500
Artesano Del Tobacco by AJ Fernandez- Viva La Vida Jester Cigar Review:
The Jester is a Nicaraguan Puro from the AJ Fernandez factory in Esteli. A full strength cigar from the Viva La Vida line featuring a Habano Oscuro 2000 wrapper, Corojo 99 binder and Criollo 98 filler. A triple cap 5 X 56 Robusto Gordo perfect for the Colibri Deep V Cut!
The construction on this stick was very nice with a beautiful wrapper and nice texture. Upon cutting, the cold draw was a perfect resistance with notes of creamy milk chocolate at pre-light.
Perfect burn line at light up and throughout this entire cigar. Solid ash fell off in chucks at the thirds. No burn touch ups and thick rich smoke.
First third had flavor notes of rich deep leather, earth, light hay, dark chocolate, and lingering light white pepper. Complex flavors from the start!
Second third had nice deep leather, earth, white pepper, and a lingering black walnut finish.
#finalthird stayed true to the flavors of the cigar with notes of deep earth, leather, with lingering pepper and roasted nuts.
Overall this was a great cigar with nice transitions and complex flavor notes! I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar all the way through the final third down to the nub!
I gave the Viva La Vida Jester a solid Final Third Cigar rating of 93! Great full strength and full flavor cigar with complex notes and great construction.
