Espinosa - Alpha Dawg Cigar Review:

The Alpha Dawg is a medium strength Nicaraguan cigar consisting of a rich reddish Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and fillers. I smoke the Robusto size and used the Colibri Deep V Cut on the nice solid triple cap.

The construction is very nice, smooth wrapper and nice texture. The smoking characteristics such as draw, burn, smoke output, and even light were perfect!
The first third had flavor notes of earth, cedar, dark roast black coffee, and a touch of black pepper.

Second third flavors included a nutty and light roast coffee creaminess along with the earth. Pepper dropped off a bit but still lingers through the finish. Ask fell off toward the end of this stage!

#finalthird held notes of earth, dark roast coffee, roasted nut and a nice black pepper. Ash held once again to the nub!

Overall this was a great smoke! Solid white ash held in two large chunks, and billowing smoke throughout. No burn touch ups, and the burn line was razor sharp!

I gave the Alpha Dawg a solid Final Third Cigar rating of 91. A great cigar for any time of the day and any occasion! These will definitely stay in my normal rotation!
