Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary Connecticut Cigar Review:
If you're looking for a creamy cigar with a nutty, earthy flavor, this may be your cigar. This medium bodied super toro made with flavorful Nicaraguan filler and binder and wrapped in a delicate Connecticut shade leaf giving you a creamy experience that pairs well with coffee, tea and light whiskey like a good scotch or even possibly Champagne!! This particular cigar was a bit lumpy and tight on the initial draw, but opened up quickly. May just be a one off cigar because every other Perdomo I have had has been perfect texture and draw from the start!
First third offers a creamy, nutty and earthy flavor profile that gets you excited about what’s in store!
Second third stays creamy and nutty with a nice earthy finish. Solid ash that only fell off into the second third.
#finalthird stayed true with nutty, creamy, earthy notes and a lingering hint of black pepper spice.
Overall this was a very enjoyable cigar, even though Connecticut’s are not usually my go to cigar. Had a couple small issues with the texture being lumpy and an early tight draw that could easily bump my score up a point or two.
I have the Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary CT a soli Final Third Cigar rating of 87.5.
If you enjoy medium strength Connecticut’s you will love this cigar! As I said, Perdomo is a great manufacturer and blender of cigars, so you’ll never go wrong with one of their cigars!
