La Aurora Barrel Aged by Karl Malone Cigar Review:

This cigar is beautifully constructed with Dominican, Nicaraguan and Peruvian fillers, Ecuadorian binder and a marbled reddish Ecuadorian wrapper. The tobacco was aged for 6 months in rum barrels before rolling. The band is beautiful with a basketball Orange, black and gold design!

I smoked the 5 3/4 x 54 Sumo Toro. A medium strength cigar with a nice triple cap making it perfect for the Colibri Deep V Cut or the cut of your choice!

Started out with a nice even light and a good burn line. Great smoke output and a perfect draw.

First third hits you with a smooth cedar, baking spice and a mild black pepper. Nice solid ash that only fell while laying it down in the ashtray at the end of this stage.

Second third the flavors meld together and linger. A lingering red pepper spice appears in this stage. Great flavors blended to make it more complex to the palette. Burn line stays true.

#FinalThird continues to impress. Spice ticks up a bit more with the continuance of red pepper on the finish, cedar and baking spices. Strength increases slightly, but not beyond a nice medium.
No burn touch ups at all. Always smoke these down to the nub as they are flavorful to the end.

I gave this cigar a solid Final Third Cigar rating of 92. Great construction, flavor profile and overall very enjoyable smoke!

This is an incredible cigar, even more impressive being the first blend that dons the name Karl Malone. If you haven’t tried one, get out to your local brick and mortar and give the La Aurora Barrel Aged by Karl Malone a try! It’s one I always have on hand in the humidor!
